Lesson Observations, Research and Growth in the Classroom is a course that focuses on classroom observations. It follows the general process of reflecting on practice and includes at least three lesson observations, one of which must be your own.
This course is made up of a series of short videos from Daniel Jackson (founder of TeachersPD) an experienced educator. This course includes an evidence task where you are required to complete a workbook recording notes as you reflect on your practice, identify goals relating to classroom practice, record notes from your own research, as well as notes from lesson observation discussions.
This course has a forum and you are encouraged to contribute to the forum and to comment on individual lessons or sections of the course.
Completing Lesson Observations, Research and Growth in the Classroom will contribute 7 hours and 0 minutes of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing 3.1.2, 3.2.2, and 3.3.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
