This short course focuses on the importance of setting learning goals for and with your students and discusses the interconnection between goal setting, success criteria, and exemplars to help create life-long learners.
This course is made up of a series of short videos from Daniel Jackson (founder of TeachersPD.net) an experienced educator. This course includes an evidence task where you are required to create learning goals, exemplars and success criteria for either an assessment task or unit of work.
This course has a forum and you are encouraged to contribute to the forum and to comment on individual lessons or sections of the course.
Completing The Importance of Goal Setting will contribute 1 hours and 30 minutes of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing 3.1.2 and 7.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
