Nat is an experienced presenter in the PDHPE field and has a passion for physical education.
Glen is an experienced PDHPE teacher with a wealth of knowledge on physical education and how to get primary students engaged in PE lessons.

This course will develop primary teachers confidence in delivering the new PDHPE syllabus. The workshop with have both theory and practical components for teachers to get hands on ideas and strategies for implementing the five key propositions into a PE lesson – Focus in educative purpose, take a strengths based approach, value movement, develop health literacy and include a critical enquiry approach.
The workshop will help grow teachers understanding on the importance of physical literacy with the why and how we move, how to plan an effective PE lesson and unit, understand how to give students choice within a structure while implementing the SAAFE principles, fun and effective warm up games and finding fun in fundamental games.
Teachers will leave with practical ideas which can be easily implemented and greater confidence on how to implement the propositions in all your classes.
Completing the Giving Confidence Teaching the new Primary PDHPE Syllabus Workshop will contribute 5 hours and 30 minutes of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing 2.1.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
